Dermal Fillers in Bakersfield
Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume exactly where it has been lost or where a little definition makes all the difference — lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, under-eyes and the folds around the mouth.
Dermal fillers are smooth gels made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already produces. Placed with precision, they restore the soft contours that fade with age, balance asymmetry and give lips natural shape and hydration. Results are visible immediately and settle fully within two weeks.

Dermal Fillers at Opal
Dr. Lundquist approaches filler as a sculptor would: studying proportion and light, then placing small amounts where they have the greatest effect. She uses premium FDA-approved fillers and selects the firmness of gel to match each area — a soft gel for lips, a more structured one for the jawline.
Because hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible, they are a safe way to try a change. If you ever want to adjust the result, it can be dissolved.

FAQ's
Which filler brands do you use?
We use FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers chosen for the area being treated. Dr. Lundquist will explain which product she recommends and why at your consultation.
Does lip filler hurt?
Most patients find it very tolerable. We apply a topical numbing cream first and the fillers we use contain lidocaine, which numbs the area as we work.
How long does filler last?
Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months; cheek, chin and jawline filler 12–24 months. Touch-ups keep results consistent.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you ever wish to adjust or remove the result.
